History Man called in to investigate
ITV/Granada History Man 'Mark Olly' from the popular historical investigation programme LOST TREASURES (currently being re-run on the Sky History Channel) has been spending quite a lot of time at Bygone Times recently. We called upon his historical expertise in order to clarify the age of some recently discovered artefacts on site and to confirm the age of some of the buildings housed within the Grove Mill site.Mark has confirmed the date of Millbrook House (a building attached to what is now Bygone Times) to be cica 1690, he has also confirmed the dates of several other parts of our historic site.Mark has been busy unearthing artefacts on site and has made some important discoveries; the artefacts are at present being catalogued and will be on display soon.
